So many sentences to love, but this is the one I choose: “One of the things I find interesting about Richard is he doesn’t give animals a break for being animals.”

Excellent choice.

"I would slip off the ribbon in a way I could get it back on. There were chocolate fingerprints on the cardboard. What did I think would happen when my friend opened the box and saw the cake had been tampered with, you could put it? I thought she would find it funny even though I knew she would not"

I'm busted and still laughing.

I like the variety of issues you thought about in this post. My glasses definitely cost less than a car, but not that much less when I think about it. This post suggests I can’t see with them, so what’s the point?

You can see with them, without them, and through me. xxL

three things i loved most in this piece: you finding richard’s glasses (doesn’t the universe feel like it’s on your side when things like that happen?), your caper with robin, and that woodpecker’s pecking. he must have known, damn, people here don’t slack, i best get busy too!

I love your three things! I do not love the woodpecker. xxL

What kind of furry animals are those??? Are they real or from a workshop prompt? 😉

Another great read, thanks 🙏

Thanks so much! I don't know what kind of animals they are. They look real. There is a bowl of water for them. I identify with the way they are confronted by a mirror image of themselves and stopped in their tracks. I imagine each thought, "I am a unique unidentifiable furry creature, and this moment is disturbing."

That is hilarious 😹
